We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and supporting the overall operations of our retail environment. Your ability to engage with customers, upsell products, and manage time effectively will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and orders. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor to enhance the shopping experience. Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly. Learn to sew and the art of kiltmaking

Qualifications

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal communication skills in English. Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in selling products and providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
