Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with merchandising, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage time efficiently while maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve store performance. Keep track of inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment

Skills

Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently. Organisational skills to maintain a tidy and well-presented sales environment. Experience in merchandising to enhance product displays and attract customers. Ability to upsell products effectively, contributing to overall sales growth.
