Sales Assistant (Chinese Speaking)



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales team operations across various trade channels. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will work closely with internal teams and provide backend support to ensure smooth execution of promotions, field marketing coordination, and CRM system management.

You will assist in maintaining trade customer data, preparing reports, supporting promotion execution at store level, and handling requests related to marketing materials and samples. This is a dynamic position ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of structured data tasks and occasional hands-on marketing support.

What you'll be doing?



-CRM & Data Management



Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate trade customer data (retailers, wholesalers, foodservice clients, etc.)

Provide training and day-to-day support to internal CRM users

Generate regular CRM reports to support market analysis, store visit reviews, and strategic planning

Manage product list updates in CRM and ensure data consistency

Support CRM upgrades and lead data clean-up initiatives

-Sales Team & Trade Partner Support



Assist the Sales Manager in preparing

CRM insights, reports, and internal project summaries



Respond to trade partner and distributor requests for promotion planning documents, marketing materials, and product samples

Help coordinate timelines and asset delivery for campaigns in retail stores

Ensure marketing assets and samples are dispatched and tracked as required

Generate basic ad-hoc designs for posters and shelf displays as needed.

-Trade Development, Promotion & Marketing Execution



Support the team in expanding distribution and achieving sales targets

Assist with new product introductions and trade launches to maximise distribution opportunities

Coordinate with selected trade customers for in-store promotions and cooking demonstrations (may involve occasional weekend work)

Gather and track information on product distribution, pricing, and competitor activities to support business planning

Maintain strong communication flow with trade customers and internal teams to support sales opportunities

Arrange placement of marketing materials (e.g. POSM displays, posters, sampling tools) in stores

Support the execution accuracy of promotions and prepare post-activity summaries and basic feedback reports

Who are we looking for?



Permission to work in the UK.

Able to speak and write fluent Chinese, either Cantonese or Mandarin. And proficiency in English.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field Minimum of

2 years' sales or marketing experience in the FMCG industry

; data analytics experience is preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce) is a plus Skilled in

Canva

or similar design tools for creating basic marketing visuals and ad-hoc materials Highly organised with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and support trade execution

Full UK driving licence preferred

-- must be willing to travel for store visits or event support Willingness to work occasional weekends for in-store cooking demos or promotional activities;

time off in lieu will be provided
