RAD Enterprises LTD is looking for an experienced Sales Assistant (with admin responsibilities) to support the running of their retail and mail order operations

The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world's most influential dance education and training organisations. Located just a short walk from Clapham Junction, with its state of the art headquarters, our work takes us, locally and around the world to widen access to dance and to share the benefits and wellbeing that it brings. RAD Enterprises sources and develops physical and digital dance resources, gifts and apparel. It gift-aids its profits back into the organisation to support its charitable work.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will assist the operations team with the day to day running of the shop, providing excellent customer service. This will include fitting ballet wear to meet our specifications in addition to promoting a diverse mix of gift and clothing items. You will also provide administrative support for our multi-faceted business where required in order to maintain the smooth running of our internet operation.

As a Sales Assistant you will have:

Proven sales and customer service experience in a retail environment Sound interpersonal, organisation and IT skills; A proactive approach to managing your workload to meet deadlines; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; A willingness to provide admin support across the team as per the business needs.
Applications from dance trained individuals who understand the importance of a well-fitted ballet shoe are welcome but further training will be provided. If you are passionate about delivering excellent service, then this is the role for you. In addition, previous experience of being a First Aider and/or a willingness to train as a First Aider are preferable. Training would be provided and you will become one of the Academy's First Aid team ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the Academy's community
