Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused

Sales Assistant

to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent service to customers, keep the store well-presented, and support the smooth running of operations.

This position requires availability Monday - Sunday. Shifts will include a mixture of days and evenings on a rota basis. 24-30 hours per week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

Welcome customers and provide helpful, attentive service. Assist customers in locating products and offering product recommendations. Operate tills & process payments

Store Presentation

Ensure shelves are stocked, clean, and well-organised. Maintain tidy displays and clear, accurate price labels. Support merchandising changes for promotions and seasonal events.

Stock & Inventory

Replenish stock and rotate to ensure freshness and reduce waste.

Safety & Compliance

Follow health, safety, and store security procedures at all times.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills. Good time management and organisational skills. Basic numeracy and attention to detail.
