We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the team at Manchester's newest Irish bar, Dirty O' Sullivans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service, enabling them to assist customers effectively and contribute to the overall success of our retail environment. This is a multi-faceted role that will require host, diary management and social media knowledge
Sales
To answer incoming calls and emails and respond accurately with attention to detail.
Ensure the sales process is followed for all bookings using the venue booking system.
Outbound sales via social media (no cold calling / messaging)
Research, source and create new sales opportunities through social media, networking and data insight to drive maximum revenues for the department
Hosting
You will be the first face the guests see when they enter, so a positive attitude is essential
Diary management will be your main day to day role, so a strong knowledge of how to maximise seating is vital
A strong understanding of our product, service and upsells to deal with everything that you might get asked!
Social Media
To manage the Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok accounts for the venue
Posting regularly to generate business
Responding to guest queries and enquiries via social media
Reporting
Provide social media reports for General Manager / Assistant General Manager / Sales Manager.
Customer Service
Ensure the booking system is accurate and deposits / invoices are paid off as per instruction from finance department.
Manage Internal requests, ensuring appropriate sign-off and procedures are followed.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests have a point of contact for any queries
Requirements
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Basic mathematical skills.
Excellent organisational skills to maintain a well managed diary
Restaurant diary management experience is vital
Previous experience with DesignMyNight is advantageous but not a requirement
Social media knowledge is essential
