We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Fluency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, is highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries in a professional manner Provide detailed product information and guidance to optimise customer experience Engage in merchandising activities to ensure displays are attractive and well-stocked Upsell products effectively to maximise sales opportunities Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, maintaining excellent phone etiquette Manage stock levels, organise stockroom and ensure shelves are tidy and replenished promptly Handle customer complaints or issues with tact and professionalism Assist in organising promotional events or sales campaigns as required Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers Organisational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and stock counts Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Experience in merchandising or retail sales is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
