Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience. Engage with customers through effective communication and active listening to understand their needs. Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to encourage upselling opportunities. Maintain an organised sales floor by ensuring products are well-merchandised and displays are visually appealing. Handle transactions accurately while utilising basic math skills for cash handling. Manage time efficiently to balance customer service duties with stock replenishment and merchandising tasks. Uphold professional phone etiquette when addressing customer queries over the phone. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent organisational skills to maintain a tidy and efficient work environment. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks as needed in a fast-paced setting.
