We are currently looking to recruit a sales assistant reporting directly to and supporting the Store Manager. We are looking for a driven and hard-working individual who has experience of working in a fast-paced independent retail business with a difference!

You will be responsible for assisting in opening and closing the shop and day-to-day running. This will include cashing up, answering queries, assisting customers and traders and posting on social media, etc. Previous retail experience is essential and personality fit is key in our small team.

Occasional holiday cover and sickness cover.

Working hours: 9:45 - 5:30 (Saturday) 9:45 - 4:30 (Sundays)

We need someone who loves anything 'vintage', has great flexibility, excellent customer service skills and is a quick learner

You will be responsible to the Shop Manager and ASM

We are keen to hear from existing Sales Assistants with key holder responsibility

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 15-25 per week (subject for more depending on holiday cover etc)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Northampton NN1 2JL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

Retail sales: 1 year (required) customer service: 1 year (preferred)
