We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic Nottingham team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales through effective upselling techniques and maintaining an organised store environment. Knowledge and experience of photography is always useful.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage with customers to promote products and effectively upsell items. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed. Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Assist in stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves as necessary. Provide support in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment.

Requirements

Proficient in English; Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent communication abilities to engage with customers confidently. Experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for selling and providing exceptional customer service is essential.
