We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to upsell products and manage time effectively will contribute to the overall success of our sales team.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
Maintain an organised and tidy sales area, ensuring that displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in-person with excellent phone etiquette.
Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and monitoring product availability.
Manage and maintain our online platforms
Experience
Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly disposition with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
Basic understanding of sales techniques and the ability to sell products effectively.
An understanding using Microsoft Office.
