We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive assistance throughout their shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products, offering recommendations, and upselling where appropriate Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system while adhering to phone etiquette and professional communication skills Manage stock levels, organise stockroom areas, and ensure products are well-presented on the shop floor Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies in a clear and friendly manner Support organisational tasks such as inventory checks, stock replenishment, and record keeping Engage with customers in multiple languages (including Spanish) to enhance service quality and accessibility

Requirements

Fluency in English and maths Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers Organisational skills with an eye for detail in merchandising and stock management Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory counts Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or via other communication channels Experience or interest in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
