Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive approach to upselling and merchandising, as well as the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Manage stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential Bilingual or multilingual abilities, especially in English and Spanish, are advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management Excellent organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
