We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Soft Furnishings Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring a smooth operation within the sales environment. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about retail and in particular has a passion for interiors and fabrics and is eager to contribute to a thriving business.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products that meet their needs.
Provide knowledgeable information about products, promotions, and services to enhance the customer experience.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks as required.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
Skills
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn quickly.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential as long as you are confident in nature and friendly and approachable
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
