We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to the overall success of our sales operations.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Maintain knowledge of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and provide recommendations. Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, organising merchandise, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked. Process transactions accurately at the point of sale and handle cash responsibly. Support promotional activities and assist in visual merchandising to enhance the shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or sales is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
