We are a well-established, reputable dog-breeding business specialising in family companion puppies. We are looking for a highly organised, friendly, and computer-confident Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied, people-facing role combining office administration, customer care, and puppy sales. You will often be the first point of contact for our customers and play an important role in delivering a professional, welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
Answering phone calls, emails, and messages in a professional manner
Speaking with potential puppy owners and guiding them through our process
Managing customer records
Booking appointments and coordinating customer visits
General office administration and diary management
Supporting basic accounts tasks (invoicing, payments, record keeping)
Maintaining accurate records
Liaising with the wider team to support smooth daily operations
Essential Skills & Experience
Confident, friendly communication skills (phone, email, in person)
Strong computer skills (email, spreadsheets, databases; basic accounts helpful)
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working in an animal-based environment
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous office administration or sales experience
Customer service or client-facing background
Basic bookkeeping or accounts knowledge
