Overview

We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our existing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, and assisting clients with their needs. Duties

Engage enthusiastically with both customers and our independent unit holders to provide knowledgeable assistance to support them as required. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Respond to customer enquiries in person, by phone or on-line promptly and professionally, offering tailored solutions. Be vigilant and work with the rest of the team to keep stock safe Provide support on administrative tasks Support senior staff that may delegate tasks that involve the day to day running of the business.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not essential, training will be provided. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work weekends - the hours offered are primarily at weekends A proactive attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions accurately

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 12 per week
