Full-Time - Permanent - 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.

Primary purpose / function of the job



The Maintenance Sales Assistant is responsible for selling, quoting, and managing our maintenance services for both existing and new clients. This role combines technical knowledge with strong customer service and sales skills to identify client needs, recommend effective maintenance solutions, and ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

Complete training will be provided.



Main duties



Analyse inspection reports and generate accurate maintenance quotations in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and promote the continued growth of our maintenance client base. Prepare accurate documentation for our installation team, aligning with our scheduled installation dates and capacity timeframe. Collaborate closely with our inspectors and installation team to ensure seamless delivery of our services, keeping customers informed throughout the process. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales using CRM software. Provide high-level administrative support within our maintenance department and assist other departments as needed.

Personal qualities and skills required



To be an effective team player, you need to be methodical and capable of working independently. Excellent communication skills are also essential. Additionally, strong organisational and time-management skills are crucial. You should be goal-driven with a proactive and positive mindset. Understanding technical information and having strong attention to detail is important. Furthermore, it's vital to have a good understanding of customer relationships and the ability to deliver exceptional customer.

Education/training/work experience



A minimum of five GCSEs, including English and Maths at level 5 or equivalent, would be advantageous. Three years of B2B sales experience are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is necessary.

PLEASE NOTE:



Due to the office location, you will require your own transportation. We are located 11 miles from Wisbech, 7 miles from March, and 12 Miles from Ely in the rural village of Christchurch. This is not served by any public transport.
