Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to upsell products effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored recommendations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and orders. Effectively upsell products to enhance the customer's shopping experience. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills for handling cash and card payments. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and promote a positive work environment. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferredl. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory effectively. A friendly disposition with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues alike.

Pay: 6.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 39 per week
