Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, promoting products, and supporting the overall store operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable sales and organisational skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer experience Engage in merchandising activities to ensure attractive product displays Upsell products and services to maximise sales opportunities Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, maintaining excellent phone etiquette Manage stock levels and organise inventory efficiently Assist with organising promotional events and store layouts Maintain a tidy, organised workspace and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Support team members with daily store operations as required Basic housekeeping duties to maintain the high standards our customers expect.

Qualifications

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities Experience in merchandising or retail sales is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently when needed Good phone etiquette and customer service orientation
