NIKA - Women's and Men's Clothing Boutique in Salcombe

NIKA is a women's and men's clothing boutique. As Sales Assistant your role will be to assist in the day to day running of the shop. Helping customers with their choices and providing some styling support/advice if appropriate. Our customers are predominantly woman and will often appreciate some help with putting outfits together and making suggestions on styling so if you have an interest in this area it would be a bonus.

Checking off deliveries ensuring the contents are accurate in respect of dispatch paperwork.

You will also need to help with stock room management making sure everything is in the appropriate place and organised so that it is easy to find various items quickly.

At some points you will need to assist in customer queries which can be challenging. This may involve dealing with customer returns and faulty items as well as helping when size changes are necessary.

An eye for colour and merchandising would be helpful as the windows and displays need changing regularly as well as re-organizing the store layout as new lines are added.

There is also the opportunity to get involved in product choices so if you have a particular brand or product you think would be popular then input is very much encouraged.

The salary will be dependent on experience. An interest in fashion and a desire to help customers with their styling and choices is also necessary. We provide an experience for our customers and it is important that they are made to feel valued.

The position is flexible in that it can be from 2-5 days a week, depending on the candidate requirements. There are no set days and this can be negotiated on a week by week basis but to a degree but some weekend work will be required.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
