We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction while contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Provide support in promotional activities and events to boost sales initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English; Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. A friendly and approachable demeanour with the ability to build rapport with customers. A proactive attitude towards learning about products and services offered by the company.
