We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly English and Spanish, is highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele. Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
Assist customers in selecting products and answer queries regarding features and benefits
Promote sales by upselling relevant products and accessories to maximise revenue
Maintain attractive merchandise displays in accordance with company standards
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring proper cash handling and phone etiquette
Organise stock levels, perform stock replenishment, and manage inventory efficiently
Support organisational tasks such as cleaning displays, organising stockroom areas, and completing daily sales reports
Utilise strong communication skills to inform customers about ongoing promotions or new arrivals
Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed within scheduled shifts
Qualifications
Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional phone manner
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail in merchandising and stock management
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Experience in retail or sales environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for product knowledge and sales techniques
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
