We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a passion for charity customer service.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries. Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers. Handle transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling and till operations. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Will need to be able carry stock and donations up and down 2 flights of stairs. Confident and able to work alone at times and or with volunteers. Working hours will be between Monday - Sunday and you will need to be flexible.

Experience

Previous experience in charity retail or sales is mandatory. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and colleagues. A keen interest in charity merchandising and maintaining product displays is beneficial.
