Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and effective phone etiquette. Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills to handle cash and card payments. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Assist in managing inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers confidently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, particularly in English and other languages. A keen interest in sales with an aptitude for upselling products. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A positive attitude, team spirit, and a willingness to learn new skills.
