We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service and jewellery. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through effective merchandising, upselling, and maintaining an organised sales environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Demonstrate strong communication skills by effectively conveying product information and answering questions. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Assist with merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed attractively and effectively throughout the store. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring all products are well-presented and accessible. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Keep the work environment clean and tidy. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
Requirements
Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Basic metal and jewellery knowledge to be able to talk confidently to customers.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential; and willingness to learn is key. Desirably previous experience in jewellery retail.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 9.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
