Sales Assistant

to join our team and help customers find the perfect solutions for their homes.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Assistant, your duties will include:

Welcoming customers into the showroom and providing excellent service Assisting customers in selecting products and offering informed advice Processing payments (cash and card) accurately Keeping the showroom clean, tidy, and well-stocked Managing stock deliveries and customer orders Supporting the store manager with complaints and customer queries Pricing displays accurately in line with head office guidelines Staying informed on new products and industry innovations Handling returns and refunds professionally Following up on customer quotes and helping secure sales Identifying product opportunities to help boost sales and margins Assisting with showroom promotions and display setups Maintaining store security and being vigilant for fraud or theft

What We're Looking For

Key skills and qualities:

Friendly, engaging, and confident personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Helpful, polite, and professional at all times Physically fit - some lifting required Team player with a positive attitude Smart appearance and articulate Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Basic knowledge of tiles or bathrooms is a plus (training provided) Basic computer skills A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential

Schedule

Monday to Friday - 8-hour shifts Alternate Saturdays - 9:00am to 1:00pm Weekend availability required on rotation
