As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales through exceptional service and product knowledge. This position requires a proactive approach to upselling products while ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer understanding. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Manage time efficiently to ensure all customers are attended to promptly. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance. Assist with basic maths calculations for transactions, ensuring accuracy in processing sales.

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent verbal communication skills Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds. A willingness to learn about products and services offered by the company.
