Sales Assistant, Wendover

This is a part-time role working 2 days a week (16 hours) including weekends on a rota basis.

You will work with the Shop Manager, staff and volunteer team to engage support for FNHC from the local community, maximise sales and profit, encourage stock donations and actively promote Gift Aid and the Hospice Lottery.

You will have responsibility for:

To support the Shop Manager and Assistant Managers to deliver an excellent retail offer for the local community. Assist in achieving agreed income targets - sales, Gift Aid and Hospice Lottery. Help to promote a happy and productive working environment for the volunteers. Help to maximise sales through effective stock management, pricing, display and merchandising. The role involves significant levels of stock handling.
You should have:

Experience of working with a team in charity or large-format retail. Experience of working in a customer facing environment. Ability to work positively with people of all abilities. Highly motivated and driven with a keen interest in donated product. This role will involve a significant level of stock management. Applicants for this role need to be aged 18 or over. The role involves working with volunteers, and in order to adhere to our safeguarding policies, all staff employed in FNHC Shops need be over 18.
