THIS IS A SELF-EMPLOYED POSITION

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience, assisting with merchandising, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques.

You will also be required to have training on the post office.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products. Utilise upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and maintaining product displays. Employ basic math skills to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage stock levels. Proven communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A proactive approach to learning about products and services offered by the company.
