Job Summary

We are one of the leading sewing machine dealers in the UK, selling all major machine brands and are looking for a Sales Assistant/Admin who is motivated, adaptable and can multi-task when required, with a keen interest in Sewing and Crafts to join our company.

Responsibilities

Sales and product demonstrations along with an ability to sell up. Work alongside Manager to set excellent standard of customer service Maximise stock potential through effective displays, promotions and point of sale material Answer questions from customers through shop floor, via telephone, email and social media platforms Process payments and till reconciliation through Epos till Liaise with suppliers and sales reps, putting in regular stock orders, face to face and by telephone and email Receive stock shipments and ensure stock is put out correctly, quickly and levels are well maintained Show enthusiasm and interest in the products we sell, keeping up to date with product information regularly. Pick mail order products stored on shop floor and assist with product dispatch using external courier systems. Process customer orders through our online platform and over telephone offering a high level of customer service Key Holder Keep the shop floor and stock areas clean and clutter free

Requirements

Must have a keen interest in sewing and crafts Must have sales/customer service experience. Proficient in IT Systems Knowledge of Etsy would be an advantage Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful, confident personality A problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Must be flexible to cover extra work hours as and when required
