Job Summary

We are a leading sewing machine dealer in the UK, supplying all major brands, and we are looking for a motivated and adaptable Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a genuine interest in sewing and crafts and be able to multi-task and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Sales and product demonstrations. Excellent standard of customer service Maximise stock potential through effective displays, promotions and point of sale material Answer questions from customers through shop floor, via telephone and email Process payments and till reconciliation through Epos till Receive stock shipments and ensure stock is put out correctly, quickly and levels are well maintained Show enthusiasm and interest in the products we sell Pick mail order products stored on shop floor and assist with product dispatch using external courier systems. Keep the shop floor and stock areas clean and clutter free

Requirements

Must have a keen interest in sewing and crafts Must have sales/customer service experience. Proficient in IT Systems Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful, confident personality Must be flexible to cover extra work hours as and when required
