Sales Assistant

At Galloways Bakers we are passionate about our quality pies, pasties, confectionery, breakfasts and filled rolls and delivering the highest standards to our customers. We are a family run Business which is always evolving and looking for people to join us in our success.

We are looking for full time permanent Sales Assistants to assist with the daily running of our stores. This role will be based at one of our stores in St Helens, but you could be asked to work at any of our 23 stores as per contract.

Contract for 30 hours - must be able to work extra to cover for sickness and holidays when needed as part of a team.

For this position, we need you to be available between Sunday and Saturday. Sunday working will be on a rota basis.

You need to be able to drive and have your own transport.

Sales assistant duties include:

Serving customers

Make sandwiches.

Keep the counters full throughout the day.

Helping to keep shops clean and tidy.

About you:

Good customer service skills.

Excellent time keeping.

Ability to work as a team.

Food experience is a plus but not essential.

Full training program will be given.

pay on advert is for 21+

Pay for 18-20's is 10 per hour

Pay for under 18's is 7.55
