We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products, offering advice, and upselling where appropriate to maximise sales Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines to attract customers and promote products Handle transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and issuing receipts Answer customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy following proper phone etiquette Organise stock levels, restock shelves, and ensure the store remains tidy and well-presented at all times Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks during busy periods while maintaining high standards of customer service Support the team with organisational tasks such as inventory checks and product displays

Experience

Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Multilingual skills, especially fluency in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers and team members Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and managing stock counts Organisational skills and time management are important to ensure smooth store operations during busy periods Experience with merchandising techniques and upselling strategies will be beneficial in driving sales growth
