Summary

We are looking for a committed

Sales Assistant / Yard Operative

to become an integral part of our team. In this dual-role position, you'll help keep our yard running smoothly by ensuring materials are well-organised and accessible for customers. You'll also assist at the trade counter, delivering friendly, efficient service. Your efforts will help uphold our reputation for outstanding service and top-quality products.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 07.30am - 17:00pm, and alternating Saturdays 08:00am - 12:00pm.

Responsibilities

Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the yard area. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Support delivery operations by preparing orders for dispatch. Greet and assist customers at the trade counter, offering product knowledge and support. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment (preferred) Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment (desirable) FLT Licence (desirable) Health & Safety awareness and manual handling skills
