Sales Associate
who will also support front-of-house operations. This hybrid role focuses on converting leads into bookings, supporting reception tasks, and assisting with infection prevention and waste management procedures.
This is a
Zero hours contract, minimum 3 months commitment
with the potential for extension, subject to performance and service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Patient Engagement
Respond promptly to incoming enquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing clear and engaging information on clinic services.
Convert patient leads into bookings through empathetic, confident communication.
Follow up with leads using an organised and timely approach via CRM and booking systems.
Provide information about clinic memberships, packages, and pricing.
Record and report on sales and conversion metrics weekly.
Reception & Admin Support
Welcome patients in a courteous, professional manner, ensuring a positive patient experience from first contact.
Assist patients with check-in, ID verification, and completion of
consent forms
.
Maintain accurate patient records in line with GDPR and clinic protocols.
Support appointment scheduling, patient reminders, and follow-up coordination.
Escalate concerns, learnings, or trends to the Practice Manager during
weekly team check-ins
.
Infection Prevention & Waste Handling
Support infection control efforts by sanitising reception areas and ensuring PPE availability.
Monitor and replenish supplies of gloves, masks, and cleaning materials.
Comply with clinic protocols on
clinical and non-clinical waste segregation and disposal
.
Carry out visual checks on hygiene and cleanliness and report issues promptly.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Comfortable using IT systems (e.g. booking platforms, CRMs, patient databases).
Understanding of or willingness to be trained in infection prevention and basic waste protocols.
Minimum availability of 20 hours per week

Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
Previous experience in private healthcare, medical reception, or telephone-based sales.
Awareness of GDPR and the importance of accurate consent documentation.
Familiarity with CQC standards and infection prevention policies.
