As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued as we aim to cater to a diverse clientele.

Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Utilise upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies. Handle transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling and till operations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of presentation. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, especially those fluent in English and Spanish. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and colleagues professionally. A keen interest in merchandising and visual presentation is advantageous.
