Position Overview

Join our back office sales team at our Llandrindod Wells branch of Boys & Boden Limited, a successful, well established and expanding Builders Merchants committed to excellence and innovation. As a member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and understanding business opportunities alongside building long-term relationships with our customers. This is a key customer facing role, you need the ability to provide great customer service, build effective relationships and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Responsible for building connections with customers in person, over the phone, and in the branch or yard, providing expert advice Prepare quotes, follow up on enquires and develop leads Offer guidance with up-to-date product knowledge to help customers find the best materials and solutions Ensure high standards of customer service at all times Work with other members across the branch including the yard and counter

Requirements

You will need to be confident, and sales focused, be adept at decision making, with excellent interpersonal skills Proactive and enthusiastic attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional sales and customer relationship building skills in a trade, sales or retail environment Knowledge of building materials is preferable, but the ability to learn is essential Full driving licence
