Responsibilities




As a

Sales & Business Development Consultant

, you will be at the forefront of growing Blue Education's client base across the UK. This role combines business development, sales, and client relationship management - engaging with schools, families, and students to identify comprehensive product solutions to academic needs. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our growth strategy, with a high level of autonomy right from the start. Key responsibilities include:


Business Development and Partnerships: Lead outreach to new schools and education partners as identified by our data team, generating leads and building a strong pipeline of B2B opportunities. Deliver engaging discovery calls and pitch meetings with prospective partners. Identify partnership models that align with the schools' needs and Blue Education's services.


Client Consultations and Sales: Conduct in-depth consultations with students and parents to understand their goals and recommend suitable programmes. Convert leads into clients through a consultative, high-trust sales approach. Maintain knowledge across our academic services and support offerings.


Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with schools, educational organisations, and families. Provide aftercare and support to maintain client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.


Strategy and Growth: Contribute to the development and delivery of sales and business development strategy in the UK. Identify and act on new growth opportunities through data insights and client feedback. Attend events, open days, and education fairs to represent Blue Education and raise brand awareness.

Qualifications and Skills




Education:

Bachelor's and/or master's degree from a UK university. An understanding of the UK education system, whether this is because you went to a UK university yourself or have had previous experience in the UK education sector. Prior experience in sales, business development, or marketing (education sector experience is preferred).

Initiative: Proactively generating ideas for improving school relationships and acting on them independently.
