The Person
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Executive to act as an ambassador for The Fellows House Hotel. You will embody our core values of cultured, devoted and person-centred, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating exceptional experiences for our guests. With a customer-focused mindset, you will build meaningful relationships with clients while contributing to the growth and reputation of our hotel.
The Role
As a Sales and Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue, developing client relationships and increasing brand awareness. You will be proactive in identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts and contributing to the overall sales strategy. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with The Fellows brand values and business objectives.
Drive community engagement strategies that enhance the reputation of The Fellows House and make The Fellows House the hub of the local community.
Build on and develop relationships with current clients
Analyse current markets and identify new markets and potential clients
Ensure in house promotional material is current, effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotion.
Support and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth and enhance market share.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and event management, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales initiatives and market trends.
Ensure that all outgoing communications are in line with brand guidelines.
Devise and coordinate regular guest surveys, analysing the results and recommending continuous improvement ideas and actions.
Deliver the product to expected Brand standards and manage the QE process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, ensuring all leads, opportunities and communications are properly logged and tracked.
Oversee the smooth delivery and handover of accounts once secured, working closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met from the outset.
Attend and represent the company at breakfast meetings, networking evenings and business functions which may be held outside of normal office hours, to help build connections and raise brand visibility.
Skills Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business or a related field. Master's degree (desired)
Proven experience in sales, business development or hospitality sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with a proactive, results-driven approach.
Understanding of hospitality industry trends and customer expectations.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
