Responsibilities:



Inbound Sales & Customer Engagement

:

Responding to Inbound Enquiries:

Handle incoming calls and emails, delivering prompt, knowledgeable, and solution-focused responses to customer queries.

Consultative Product Guidance:

Provide expert advice to help customers select suitable products, with a strong emphasis on wildflower turf and sustainable landscaping solutions.

Sales Order Management

: Accurately process customer orders and quotations, ensuring all specifications and logistical details are captured effectively.

Lead Qualification

: Identify and qualify potential sales leads from inbound channels and escalate promising opportunities to the appropriate team members.

Upselling & Cross-Selling:

Proactively recognise and recommend relevant complementary or premium product options to enhance customer purchases.

Logistics & Delivery Coordination:



Client Communication:

Maintain clear and timely updates on delivery schedules, ensuring customers are kept informed and confident throughout the process.

Sales Administration & Support:



Account Management:

Oversee a small portfolio of customer accounts, delivering excellent ongoing service and support.

CRM Oversight:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activity using HubSpot or equivalent CRM platforms.

Pipeline Follow-Up:

Monitor outstanding quotes, follow up regularly, and convert inquiries into confirmed orders where possible.

Team Support:

Provide administrative assistance to the Head of Sales and broader team to facilitate seamless internal operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Experience:



Customer Service & Sales Expertise:

Proven experience in fast-paced, client-focused roles, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, relationship building, and sales support.

Organisation Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple customer accounts, manage time-sensitive sales tasks, and coordinate logistics to ensure seamless product delivery.

Communication Skills:

Confident verbal and written communication skills used to influence purchasing decisions, build trust with clients, and deliver a standout customer experience.

CRM Experience:

Proficient in CRM platforms like HubSpot to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and drive follow-ups that convert leads into loyal buyers.

Customer-Centric Problem Solving:

Adept at identifying customer pain points and delivering swift, solution-focused resolutions that enhance satisfaction and drive repeat business.

Self-Motivated with Strong Initiative:

Demonstrates the ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and take ownership of tasks with a clear focus on delivering value and contributing to team objectives.

Industry Background (Preferred):

Experience within product-driven industries such as landscaping, construction, or building materials is highly desirable. Familiarity with the needs of trade customers and the ability to provide knowledgeable, solution-based support will be a significant advantage.
