Sales Consultant
at
our York Road Carpet Store, Arkwright Road, Doncaster, DN5 8LU
Package
Salary :
Average Salesperson earnings including bonus and commission 31k-36k+. Stronger salespeople exceed this average. We never cap commission and there are no thresholds for commission earning, it is paid from day one.
26k-27k starting salary depending on experience, plus bonus and commission.

Hours
: 40 hours per week - Any 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday - rota set by the company)

Job Summary
As a Sales Consultant, you'll deliver a welcoming, no-pressure experience for every customer, helping them find the right products to suit their needs from our extensive range. We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, a genuine passion for what we sell, and a customer-first attitude. If you're enthusiastic, sales-driven, and committed to outstanding service, we'd love to hear from you.
Main responsibilities/ Key Tasks
Assist and advise customers with making purchases from a wide variety of quality floor coverings including carpets, rugs, laminate flooring, artificial grass, beds, and furniture
Issuing quotes to customers
Processing customer sales
Ensuring all products and materials are ordered and in stock
Adhering to company store sales, cash handling and banking procedures
Ensure that the appearance of the store is kept clean and tidy in line with the company standards
Any other duties as directed by line management
Competencies/Key Skills Required
An excellent proven track record in face to face sales (flooring sales would be an advantage, one year minimum).
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work off their own initiative
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Organisational skills including a high level of attention to detail
The ability to assess and help customers efficiently and knowledgeably
Health & Safety Conscious
