Sales Consultant \xe2\x80\x93 Hybrid

Location: Hybrid/Whitechapel, London UK
Salary: \xc2\xa330,000 + Generous Commission Scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a Season ticket loan scheme!

For over 25 years Bond Solon has specialised in providing legal training for non-lawyers whose role requires them to interact with the law. Bond Solon provides niche products (both face-to-face and through Virtual Classrooms) to a number of other core sectors:

Bond Solon have a consultative approach to selling which involves developing rapport with clients, delivering excellent service and constantly seeking new ways to win business from new and existing clients.

As our Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:
  • Making outbound telephone calls, pitching our products and services.
  • Business within your own sector, you will be given autonomy to run your own business area selling our products.
  • Sending out a set number of information packs following sales pitches each day.
  • Following up on telephone calls by sending out information packs and mailshots.
  • Handling enquiries from clients and prospective clients.
  • Identifying key decision-makers in organisations.
  • Matching the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs with Bond Solon\xe2\x80\x99s product offerings.
  • Working as part of the Investigations Business Unit sales team to achieve weekly and monthly targets.
  • Attending client meetings, conferences and seminars.
  • Providing existing and new clients with high levels of customer service.
What does \xe2\x80\x98success\xe2\x80\x99 look like for this role?
  • Meeting and exceeding achievable sales targets
  • Growing into the role, and gaining understanding of business requirements, and their specific market \xe2\x80\x93 becoming an expert in their sector
  • In time, identify and act on new business opportunities within their sector
  • Assisting in meeting Sales and Marketing strategic goals
  • Meeting set scheduled deadlines, and ad hoc deadlines when the business requires it
  • Ability to adapt and react to needs of the business
In order to be successful in this role it is essential that you have:
  • A successful background in running an entire sales cycle, from lead generation, cold calling to closing
  • B2B/B2C telephone sales experience
  • A track record of up-selling and cross-selling
  • The ability to build strong relationships with senior decision makers
  • To be comfortable winning new business and closing deals averaging in size between \xc2\xa32,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa335,000 per deal and introducing our products and services to new and existing clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
It would be great if you had / were:
  • Degree qualified
  • Experience of selling training products and events
  • CRM system experience
Although we sell legal skills training, the audience for our courses are non-lawyers, and we do not require our Sales Team members to have legal backgrounds.
