PART TIME SALES CONSULTANT/SHOWROOM ASSISTANT
GOODWINS KITCHENS, BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
We are very pleased to announce that as part of our fast-growing business, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team here at Goodwins.
Based in our Showroom in Wirksworth Derbyshire, you will support customers step-by-step through the process using the latest design software Virtual Worlds, to create innovative designs of kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms that will help them achieve their aspirations, attending to every detail and placing customer satisfaction as your priority. You will then be responsible for ordering and project managing the installations working closely with other sales staff and installation teams.
It is beneficial if you come from a sales background. However, what matters is that you have bags of enthusiasm and energy with a passion to adapt to different working environments and to be able to push yourself. This isn't just about selling, it's about showing your passion for people, and for understanding their homes and aspirations. While teamwork is important, you must also use your initiative and take responsibility for meeting deadlines
This role involves Saturday work on a rota, with a weekday off. Hours are negotiable between 21 and 28, with potential for more for suitable candidates.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle to make site visits/appointments
Be able to deal with customer queries as professionally and quickly as possible while also taking responsibility for the end-to-end sales process.
Preparing and managing effective meetings with customers in the showroom, or on site from time to time
Achieving sales in line with your agreed personal sales targets
Placing customer's orders directly with suppliers in accordance with company procedures, collating orders and arranging delivery.
Following up both sales enquiries and quotations
Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships
Continually developing and updating your product knowledge
Assist to always maintain a clean and attractive showroom
IT skills essential in both spreadsheets, the use of formulas and word documents
Significantly have good verbal communication skills
Working as part of a team but also able to work on your own initiative
Ability to take instructions and work under minimal supervision
Displaying a flexible, hands-on approach to all aspects of the work
Organisation in prioritizing workload effectively
Work well under pressure
Maintain good knowledge of health and safety policy and procedures
