Job Description

We have some exciting opportunities coming up as we look to expand our team. We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic sales professionals to join us on our journey of growth. We are looking for Business Development Managers and Account Managers.

Within these roles, your time will be split between working on new business opportunities and developing our existing high value customers to achieve realistic targets with a generous commission scheme.

You will be offering a range of business communication systems including - Business Telephone systems, Landlines, Mobiles, Cyber Security, Vehicle Tracking and Broadband solutions delivered by an award winning and well-respected team.

These roles are in B2B sales with a strong emphasis on selling to all types of businesses, both big and small on a regional and national basis.

Summary of Activities



In both the Business Development Manager role and the Account Manager role, you'll play a key part in driving growth and building strong client relationships. Your day will be varied -- from prospecting new leads to nurturing existing accounts -- and you'll have the autonomy to manage your own pipeline while collaborating across the business.

Key responsibilities include:



Identifying new business opportunities through telephone canvassing, and referrals You will be supported by a marketing team that will generate lots of interest Working with existing high?value customers to uncover opportunities, encourage growth, and secure testimonials Attending networking events to represent and promote the business Actively using LinkedIn and other digital platforms to engage potential customers Preparing tailored proposals Maintaining CRM systems, monitoring industry trends, and reporting progress to management Taking ownership of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs Ensuring client satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and delivering value

As a BDM, you'll also be expected to do the following



Identify and pursue local and regional growth opportunities that directly impact revenue Build strong relationships with business owners, community leaders, and referral partners Act as the face of the business at local networking events, trade shows, and community initiatives Create tailored solutions for SME clients, balancing affordability with value delivery Collaborate closely with the director's/sales manager to refine offerings and pricing models Seek out cross?selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize lifetime value Establish partnerships with complementary SME's to create bundled or joint offerings Take ownership of the full sales cycle -- from prospecting to closing

Your Experience



We're looking for self-starters who thrive on generating their own opportunities and are confident in building relationships independently. You'll bring energy, resilience, and a proactive approach to business development and account management, with the ability to adapt and overcome challenges.

Ideally, you'll have:

Proven ability to generate and manage your own opportunities Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and prospects at all levels Previous experience in face?to?face sales (advantageous but not essential for Business Development role) Confidence in delivering persuasive presentations and proposals Commercial awareness and an eye for spotting opportunities Comfort with digital tools such as CRM systems, LinkedIn and Microsoft365
