We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales operations, ensuring smooth communication between customers, vendors, and internal teams, and helping drive the success of our projects from enquiry to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound sales enquiries, survey bookings, and customer order updates via phone and email.
Liaise with vendors to obtain pricing and product information.
Monitor and respond to customer emails and requests in a timely manner.
Review customer drawings to design appropriate crates and pallets.
Prepare accurate pricing and quotations for customer enquiries.
Record, track, and manage all enquiries from initial quote through to project completion.
Acknowledge and process customer purchase orders with accuracy.
Create and distribute job sheets, delivery tickets, and work orders.
Maintain and update the quote tracker; follow up on pending quotes.
Generate and send daily sales reports to customers.
Prepare weekly internal sales reports for management review.
Support the Sales Manager with tender preparation and contract pricing.
Coordinate workflow with the Workshop Manager to ensure timely project delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a sales support, coordination, or customer service role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (desirable).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
