Marton Geotechnical Services Limited (MGS)

was established in 1988 and manufactures and supplies specialist quality products for use in ground investigation, water well, and geothermal drilling applications, as well as a variety of railway drainage and landfill gas & leachate management products. The company employs about 70 people and operates across three locations in the UK and one site in Germany.

Sales Coordinator

?

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Sales Coordinator to assist the Sales department, specifically our Drilling division. You will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and emails. You will be able to listen and understand customer requirements and needs, building strong relationships with customers and acting as a liaison between the customer and other departments here at MGS.

Key Duties

will include:

First point of contact for customer enquiries by phone & email.

Processing Sales Orders

Deal with and resolve logistics and delivery queries

Provide customer quotations

Liaise with other MGS departments to ensure customer requirements are met

Liaise with couriers to ensure correct delivery of customer orders

Build and maintaining customer relationships

Provide support for Technical Sales Engineers

Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with this role to meet the needs of the business

, you will need to be highly motivated to assist with achieving the ambitions of the team. You will have a can-do attitude and the ability to take on information and learn new skills. We are looking for someone to slot into a busy team with enthusiasm and drive to make an impact.

Skills

required include:

Good computer skills with understanding of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Good telephone manner

Positive attitude, proactive and reliable.

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers.

Strong attention to detail, organised with excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn

Experience of working within an internal sales team or in a manufacturing business is desirable.

This is a full-time, permanent role and offers a competitive salary with 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays).

37.5 hours per week, 8.30am -5.00pm, This role is based at our site in Rougham, IP30 9ND.
