Sales Co-ordinator/Business Administrator
General survey is a commercial Roofing business - We deal with a wide range of services and clients from large corporate enterprises and commercial brands to multi-site smaller commercial businesses.
General Survey have been extremely successful over the last 15 years, and we are now looking for a self-motivated, organised individual, who has great communication skills, both written and spoken, to support the various departments of the business. This will allow us to continue progression of the success achieved to date and elevate the volumes and customer service we currently provide.
The role is focused on supporting the administration tasks across the sales department and provide support day to day. You will need to have excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, to be successful. A large part of the role will be co-ordinating the sales process for our clients.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
First point of contact for new clients
Maintaining existing client relationships
Assisting to produce estimates and sending quotes and following up when required.
Producing necessary paperwork for clients Site Operating Procedures
Managing sales calls and collecting initial enquiry details
Arranging appointments for site visits
Collating data and maintaining sales pipeline
Supporting the day-to-day administration tasks for the sales customers.
Sending RAMS, arranging and supporting scheduling tasks
Attending site to obtain photos and details when required
Skills Required
Customer Service excellence
Sales experience with B2B and B2C
Full UK Driving Licence
Fluent spoken and written English
Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to write strong business correspondence.
Excellent IT skills, which must include Microsoft Packages
Natural time management skills and proficient in multi-tasking
Ability to work well under pressure.
Be able to ask for help when needed.
Basic understanding of a construction trade is preferred but not essential.
Flexibility in working hours as and when required would also be advantageous.
