What you'll be doing?




Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function - Barratt Partnerships.

While the work varies from team to team, our key requirements don't: you must be well organised, extremely helpful and resourceful, and able to use your initiative. You'll understand that what you do is important, and impacts on your team, the department, and the wider business.

Reporting to the Group Senior Sales Manager you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing a variety of administrative tasks while also contributing to project management and ad hoc initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to play a crucial part in the sales operation processes, ensuring smooth workflows and effective communication across departments.

You will be expected to:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparation or reports, Executive papers, coordinating presentations and guidance briefings. Collaborate with Group IT to manage sales contact list, provide administrative support for IT approvals where required. Serve as a point of contact for internal departments and external clients, facilitating effective communication and feedback. Support project management when analysing and executing new initiatives such as new schemes and systems. Assist in organising Sales Seminars, Sales Director conferences, meetings and training sessions, handling logistics and preparation as needed. Generate sales reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales activities and performance metrics. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and tools, contributing to the development of more efficient workflows. Provide additional support as needed for special projects, initiatives and ad hoc queries, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities. Provide administrative support in processing purchase orders in line with Group policy and procedure.
