Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic hire desk controller to join our Hire and Sales Department who will be part of a busy and expanding department.

About you!



The Sales Coordinator is a vital part of our everyday operations when it comes to sales and customer service. In this role, you will manage the hire and sales process from order placement through to delivery and collection. You will also support lead generation and drive sales growth through effective customer engagement and a strong understanding of customer needs. Working closely with other departments, you will liaise with the yard team, drivers, servicing team and engineers to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

Description:



Being a small team, the role is varied and we are looking for someone with a proactive, can-do attitude. Some of your responsibilities will include:

Handling inbound and outbound calls and emails, responding to customer enquiries and ensure they get the best possible service.

Process hire and sales orders

Build strong relationships based on trust with existing customers

Uphold a high level of customer service and maintain the image of RS French

Working as part of a team in a very busy and fast paced office

Assist the Office/Sales and Hire Manager in processing off hires and completing paperwork, ensuring that procedures for hire / sales contracts are adhered to

Liaise with new and existing customers over the phone, and via email taking enquiries and provide information about our products. Negotiating and converting hire enquiries into orders

Identifying and interpreting the best welfare hire or transport solution for customers' requirements

Requirements:



We are looking for someone who is prepared to take on a variety of task associated with working with a family business. However, more importantly you must have.

Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales role

Excellent levels of customer service

Excellent communication skills

Ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

Flexible and self-motivated

Able to work as part of a team supporting colleagues

High level of commitment and desire to achieve goals and meet deadlines

Solving problems and multi-tasking within a busy office environment

Employee Benefits:



Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

Salary 32,000 to 36,000 depending on experience

Long Service Holiday Rewards scheme
